Dear Skip,

I hope this note finds you well and enjoying the summer months.  We've been working on a number of things that we felt you might want to know about ranging from a new business model for Team and a Dream to a Business Building Bootcamp to a new networking event for technology entrepreneurs at the Mainline Chamber of Commerce.  We hope to see you in one of these venues!

Finally, please take some time to stop by our blog at
www.cheaprevolution.com. Yasmine Mustafa and our team have been busy updating it with evaluations, SEO tips and the latest sections of our blog-book.
Our New Cohort Model
taad at 100%

Team and a Dream is starting a cohort model for entrepreneurs. This cohort will consist of small groups with entrepreneurs experiencing similar issues in their start-ups.  This proprietary format provides the team with access to experienced startup advisors and resources for a fraction of the price it would cost. Furthermore, each session is accompanied by an hour of execution support from a Team and a Dream intern on the topic covered in the session. This provides entrepreneurs with the muscle they need to put the ideas generated in the meeting into practice.

The teams will be chosen so that they are non-competitive and meetings will be held twice monthly for 90 minutes. A Team and a Dream Startup Advisor will facilitate the meetings around topics such as Vendor Selection, Screening Candidates for Management Team Membership, Search Engine Optimization, Market Testing through Google Adwords, etc. We will also provide time for your company to ask questions and to work on a relevant issue for you, in a round robin format. For more details, contact Skip Shuda at skip@teamandadream.com.

Skip Shuda to lead workshop at the Eastern Technology Council's "Business Building BootCamp"

Skip will be joined by industry IT experts Rick Bunker, John Galvin and Sunil Jagani.  Find out more about the presenters here. The workshop is designed specifically for start-up and emerging growth executives in the technology and life sciences industries. Each Business-Building BootCamp will include eight workshops, designed and facilitated by leading experts in finance, IT, human resources, marketing, and sales for the technology and life sciences industries.

Skip Shuda will be presenting on "IT within a Budget." This workshop will provide you with the tools you need to match your IT choices with your business needs.   Solving today's IT problems range from using free, open source platforms through metered "software as a service" modules through global freelancers to high end specialists.   This workshop will examine the different IT needs a startup typically encounters including office management (email, document management, phones, server hosting, intranets),  marketing/sales functions (CRM, newsletters, web sites) and core technology development (e.g. custom software development, business intelligence, etc).   The workshop will show you how to identify and examine factors like your readiness, budget and options available to optimize the value your IT choices bring to your business.

The workship will be held on September 25th, 2007 from 8:00am to 1:00pm at Penn State Great Valley in Malvern, PA. A course workbook, continental breakfast, and lunch are included. For more details and registration information, click here.

The event is free to Tech Council Members and $100 for all others. As a friend of Team and a Dream, you are entitled to a discount. Please contact Yasmine Mustafa at yasmine@teamandadream.com for details.
